Incorrect information. The song Guantanamera as a popular song has nothing to do with José Martí. He wrote poems and was a great warrior but he did not write the lyrics or music to the song. This evolved from music by José Fernández Diaz known as Joseíto Fernández and Spanish lyrics written by Julio Orbon. One of Orbons students showed it to Pete Seeger. That's the history.
